Surveys of church attendance suggest that the 13–30s demographic is massively unrepresented in our churches. As a result, many churches are on course for an ageing and dwindling congregation. This course aims to helps to understand why that is and what to do about it.
The day will look at the challenges of reaching young people, and examples of initiatives throughout the UK and overseas that have helped transform local churches and seen many young people come to faith.
The course of the day will be steered by the specific situations you bring. Be prepared to dream, strategise and discover the precise building blocks you need to create vision, develop teams, integrate young people and develop approaches to reach out to this missing generation.
