Our Practice Manager is retiring and we are looking for an experienced PM to replace her.

The ideal candidate will have NHS primary care experience; be well versed in the management and financial management of a practice; will know their HR; will be able to lead and develop the team; be able to join in on the growth and development of the practice and contribute and facilitate the delivery of an outstanding service to our patients and above all manage ten very well adjusted partners.

The Mission Practice is an NHS GMS practice with a strong Christian heritage situated in Bethnal Green, East London. We work from modern purpose-built premises and offer a full range of primary care services to an ethnically diverse patient population of over 12,000. The practice is also a teaching and training practice for medical students and trainee doctors. The practice is innovative, we have championed social prescribing, and we are running a pilot programme on bringing an Occupational Therapist into the multidisciplinary team. We are also adding a paramedic to the team mix with the aim of working towards a new exciting primary care model, the first step of which is triaging all appointments by a MD team case management approach.

The team includes eleven GPs (of which ten are partners), two registrars, five nurses, two HCAs, two pharmacists, a chaplain, social prescriber and OT, as well as the reception team, notes summarizer, recall administrator and medical secretary. We also have a wide range of visiting clinicians including midwives, health visitors, specialist diabetes and hypertension nurses, CPN, psychiatrist, and psychologist. Our large group room is also used by various health and wellbeing groups throughout the week.

The practice is located within Tower Hamlets CCG and is an active part of The One Network Alliance Ltd network of five GP practices within Bethnal Green which has been operating as a network for 10 years, and the GP Care Group CIC which is the Tower Hamlets GP federation which is now four years old.
