Friends International is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to supporting and equipping UK churches to reach international students for Christ. Reporting to the National Director, the Finance Manager will lead and oversee the finance function of Friends International, ensuring financial policy adherence, legal compliance and good practice. You will help apply key decisions from a perspective of prayerful Christian stewardship and dependence on God. You will have at least 2 years’ experience performing a range of financial functions, including budgeting, financial monitoring/reporting, payroll management, and working with external auditors. You will have excellent attention to detail, thoroughness, diligence and perseverance, and the interpersonal skills to relate well with a wide range of people and as part of a team. Ideally you will be a part-qualified/ qualified accountant with experience of running the financial aspects of a UK Charity.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: In the range £35,000-£40,000 p.a. determined on experience and qualifications. It is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to raise around 10% personal support

Location: The Friends International Support Centre with some UK travel
