Lee Abbey is looking for people who have a heart and passion for young people, the great outdoors and for leading adventurous activities. It is not essential to have had previous outdoor activity experience (although desirable), as you will be trained as an instructor and will gain qualifications in First Aid, Indoor Climbing Assistant (ICA) and an Archery GB Instructor. You will be given onsite specific training in the zip wire, crate stack, bush craft, low ropes, orienteering and team building activities and given opportunities to develop your leadership and communication skills. The role of activity instructor is just one part of Lee Abbey community life. You will also take an active role in the worship, creative and serving aspects of community life.
Positions for 1 or 2 years.
